Pierce Pointe is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Pierce Pointe is governed by a board of directors who are elected by the resident Pierce Pointe members for two year terms.  They become officers of the corporation, despite the fact that they are volunteers. 

There are no perks or financial compensation for serving on the board; it is strictly voluntary.  Any Pierce Pointe member in good standing may run for the board. 

The board holds quarterly meetings in the Suwanee Library or sometimes the George Pierce Park Pavilion.  Architectural Requests are discussed there, as well as other pertinent information for Pierce Pointe's success and continuance.  The board is assisted by a other committee chairs and members in the everyday operations of the corporation.  Pierce Pointe is also on retainer with local attorneys who specialize in homeowner's association laws. 

The HOA is also required to hold annual meetings, inviting all resident members to attend.  All meetings are announced in advance of the date.
